Club Details
The River Club (BMYC), on Albany Reach at Thames Ditton, has an illustrious history and has been enjoyed by its members since 1936.
Our members have a wide and varied range of water based craft; such as small motor boats, canoes, kayaks, sailing dinghies, paddle boards, rowing boats, inflatables etc…. all of which are stored out of the water.
Run by its members the club welcomes visitors, if accompanied by a member, and is a friendly environment to enjoy the River Thames all year round.
Our club house is fully equipped with kitchen and open seating areas, complete with a wood burning stove! In the summer we have picnic tables by the river for members to enjoy picnics and bbq’s and maybe a tipple or two!
Enquiries and Membership Applications
The club is focused on providing accessible access to the River Thames for a growing number of water based activities and pursuits. There is a strong focus on our community feel and getting members involved both with their water craft activities but also the social side of club membership. This is not just a club to simply store your boat beside the river, we strongly encourage members to get involved and are proud of the welcoming, family friendly, environment we have built over the years.
Our membership levels are very high and as such we do operate a waiting list for potential new applications. If you would like to learn more about the club and be considered for membership then please use the contact form provided below.
2024 Season – Please Note: due to high membership levels there are no spaces this season for new membership applications. Any new membership enquiries will be added to the waiting list but contact from the club will not be made at this time.
